yeh but where do they want the isk sinks, in high sec or low sec or no sec? if they want the sink in no sec (where a lot of money is made from ratting, missions, plexes and better ore) then its not going to have the desired effect.

i fitted 3 salvage rigs to my destroyer to boost my chances to 50% from like 20%. that means my salvagers work once every 2 times so i use a lot less cap. since doing it i havnt run out of cap yet. it also makes salvaging a lot faster than before ...

if more people were to fill out the WSDB after salvaging a mission there would be a better idea of what drops what. but already its quite easy to see what races are best for the melted caps and what are best for tritanium bars etc.
